“Adam was introduced to my wife and me by a neighbour in November 2018, at a time when we were seriously contemplating retirement and the parlous state of our self-managed superannuation fund. Until that time, almost all our ‘investments’ comprised bank deposits at about 2-3%. Demonstrably insufficient to maintain any sort of life style at all in retirement.
Our brief to Adam included providing advice on structuring the fund and on realistic expectations of performance with respect to both income and capital appreciation over a time span of at least 15 years.
